Yasumi Nadeshiko (撫子八純 (なでしこやすみ)) is one of the characters featured in Alternavelt -Blue Exorcist Gaiden-.[1]
Appearance[]
A large man with tanned skin covered in scars. He has short, dark hair and light eyes. He wears clothes akin to first responders' uniform. He wears a sleeveless True Cross Order coat over this.
Personality[]
A kind-hearted man who goes to the hospital he works at even during his vacations to help sick children receiving treatment. He trains on days off, wanting to be the first doctor on the scene in case of emergency.
Meister & Abilities[]
A Doctor who primarily relies on his inhuman strength and skill in martial arts. He also utilizes different mixtures of potions to maximize his performance in combat.
- Strike of Conquest - I: A three hit combo going from a double punch, a right straight and a second double punch.
- Strike of Conquest - II: Yasumi winds up and slams his fist into the ground, creating fissures.
- Medicine Bottle: Taking two bottles of green fluid from his bag, Yasumi throws them forward where they collide, releasing a green aura down on Yasumi and his party. It improves defence and heals all allies.
- Drain Bottle: Throwing a bottle of fluid onto the ground, it damages all nearby enemies and heals allies.
Trivia[]
- Nadeshiko may be a reference to the Dianthus superbus, a plant known for its use in Chinese herbology and representative of several features of traditional Japanese culture.
- Yasumi was part of the Karate and Judo clubs while he was at school.
