Salmac (サルマク, Sarumaku) is a upper rank Demon that possesses lions. He is related to Azazel, the King of Spirits.
Appearance[]
Salmac appears as a demon with a human body and a Lion's head. His body appears to be covered in orange fur and he wears a brown suit and tie with black shoes. He has a large mane of white hair and yellow eyes.

Salmac is one of the 108 Florid Demons to have been released after Hyakusai Pagoda burned down. Wishing to avoid combat, Salmac hid in the Rezoning area along with other lesser demons. Reaching out to the Special Investigations Unit, he wished to be taken into their custody to avoid being exorcised. When Exorcists from other divisions arrived and started to fight over whether to apprehend or eliminate Salmac and his allies, it seemed like he was going to be caught up in the conflict until Kazuto Igiri arrived with a replica Koreiga created by Adori Kureha. Sealing himself and his allies within the painting, the conflict was defused and Salmac was taken into custody by the SIU.
Through an agreement with the Acquisitions Division, Salmac agrees to answer some questions for the SIU, putting them on the trail of Malphas and Arachne, two of the remaining Florid demons.
After resolving the Florid demon case, Salmac appears before the Protagonist and Adori once more, informing them that he will endeavour to bring Malphas' faction around to his more peaceful way of thinking. Asking to see the picture of the Koreiga's creater in the SIU's possession, he introduces her for the first time.
Powers and Abilities[]
Salmac is a powerful upper rank demon who excels in martial arts. He is very knowledgable about architecture and can manifest buildings to slam into his opponents. These buildings can also be filled with weapons under his power.

- Salmac is one of the demons featured in the Ars Goetia, described as a Great Marquis, he is depicted as an armed soldier with the head of a lion.
