The Sorrows of the Summer Vacation Pool (夏休みプールの哀愁 Natsuyasumi Pūru no Aishū) is the 45th serialized chapter of Kazue Katō and Minoru Sasaki's Salaryman Exorcist: The Sorrows of Yukio Okumura.
Summary[]
The Exwires take a trip to the local pool. As the boys try to enter the pool, Rin slides dramatically on the slippery floor. As he tries to play it off to Shiemi and Izumo, Shima also slips, gliding across the floor into a handstand. Trying to avoid doing the same, Yukio and Suguro argue and end up sliding together in a dance-like pose. While being relieved that none of them actually fell, Konekomaru slips and falls. Shiemi and Izumo go to help him and the other boys are mortified to realise that they would have gotten more attention by falling over.
Moving on from the slippery patch, the group decide to try out the water slide. Shima tries to impress the girls to no avail, but once again, Konekomaru makes an impact by accidentally skipping like a stone across the pool, causing Izumo to burst out laughing. Shima is left questioning why being silly works well for the smaller boy.
