The Sorrows of the Sufficient Otaku Life (オタ充生活の哀愁 Ota Jū Seikatsu no Aishū) is the 28^th serialized chapter of Kazue Katō and Minoru Sasaki's Salaryman Exorcist: The Sorrows of Yukio Okumura. It was later compiled into Volume 3 as Chapter 31.

Summary

Amaimon arrives to watch his brother indulge in his otaku lifestyle. Starting with a popular video game, Mephisto loses patience with other players using guides and playing with what he deems a boring style. Moving on to social media, he finds that an account that often replied to him has blocked him for being annoying. Giving up on that too, he tries to watch anime only to find golf is playing over the usual timeslot. Seeing Mephisto in despair, Amaimon wonders if he is actually enjoying himself.

• The chapter was released in time for Volume 2 but was not included in the tankōbon, instead being published as Chapter 31 in Volume 3.
• The game Mephisto plays at the beginning of the game is a parody of the popular Nintendo game Splatoon.
