Ryo Shima (志摩稜(りょう) Shima Ryo) is the matriarch of the Shima family.[1]
Appearance[]
Ryo is a woman of average build with short, wavy brown hair. Her face has not been clearly seen as of yet.
Personality[]
Very little has been seen of Ryo's personality, but she was shown crying into a handkerchief during Juzo Shima's wedding, implying she is at least more prone to outbursts than her husband.[2]
After the Impure King incident, she left a message for her son Renzo that if he broke any girl's heart in Tokyo she would kill him, a threat he seemingly took quite seriously.[3]

Ryo has not shown any distinct abilities in regards to exorcism or the supernatural.
Trivia[]
- Ryo's surname Shima means "will, purpose" (志) (shi) and "chafe, rub, polish, grind, scrape, friction" (摩) (ma).
- Ryo was the last member of the Shima family to be introduced, showing up in Chapter 91 and the second-to-last to make a physical appearance.
