Nishiki Hojo (宝生 錦 Hōjō Nishiki) is an Exorcist at the Kyoto Branch of the True Cross Order and Uwabami Hojo's daughter. Her sisters are Mamushi Hojo and Ao Hojo.
Appearance[]
Nishiki looks very similar to her sisters. She has long white hair in a distinctive style having a hime-cut with an extra-long bang in the middle of her head. Her eyes resemble the sharp stare of a snake. She has a red snake tail tattoo on her left cheek, and red circles on the outer tips of her eyes. She has only been seen with traditional Japanese clothing.
Personality[]
Nishiki has been shown to be a very haughty and derisive person, at least in regards to members of the Shima family. She and Ao show great deference to their elder sister.
Synopsis[]
Impure King Revival arc[]
Nishiki first appears with her sisters, Mamushi and Ao, while in the middle of an argument with Juzo Shima and Kinzo Shima. They are arguing over who's at fault for the infiltration of the shinbu. After multiple insults from both sides, Juzo swings his K'rik at Mamushi, and she retaliates by summoning Naga. Other branch members step in to stop the fight including Ryuji.
It is later revealed in the discussion about who attempted to steal the Right Eye of the Impure King, that Nishiki and Ao were on guard when Tatsuma Suguro arrived, only to be ushered out when the seal around the eye was disturbed.
After the meeting, Mamushi confirms that her sisters believe her version of the story concerning the events at the Shinbu.[1]

Tamer: Nishiki possesses the Meister of Tamer, and most probably summons Naga like the other members of the Hojo clan.
Trivia[]
- The name Nishiki means "brocade, fine dress, honors" (錦).
- Nishiki likely takes her name from Nishikihebi (錦蛇), which means Python.
- Nishiki's surname Hojo means "treasure, jewel" (宝) (ho) and "life, living" (生) (jo).
- When Nishiki meets the eyes of babies, she makes them cry without fail.
- Amongst the sisters, Nishiki's glare is the worst.
- For some reason, the tail tattoo on Nishiki's face is missing in the anime.
