Maruta (丸田 Maruta) is an exorcist and priest living at the Southern Cross Boys' Monastery.

Appearance

Maruta is a heavyset man with close shaved black hair, with a prominent curl on his forehead. He wears the standard cassock of a priest.

Synopsis

True Cross Academy arc

Maruta is first seen at the monastery with the rest of the priests.

In the anime, he is later seen waiting with the others for Rin to return. When Yukio volunteers to go looking for his sibling, the others follow him.^[1]

When Astaroth attacks the monastery, Maruta uses his fire breath to dispatch Astaroth's demons.^[2]

Meister & Abilities

Spectral Awareness: As he is an Exorcist, Maruta had to perform the Mashō Rite, thereby allowing him to see Demons.^[3]

Fire Breath: Through an unknown method, Maruta can breathe gouts of flame at enemies.^[4]
