Appearance[]
Maria is a young woman with blue eyes and curly brown hair. She wears a tight-fitting white habit and rosary. She has summoning circles tattooed on her arm.
Personality[]
Maria is outwardly friendly and compassionate, but in reality is a deeply troubled person with a disturbing obsession with death and corpses. She feels nothing for others while alive and focused on how to kill people while causing the least amount of damage to their bodies for her ends. She feels sympathy for her undead familiars, recoiling when they are injured.
History[]
Maria’s entire family was killed by demons when she was a child, and she spent several days alone in the house with their mangled bodies before being found by the authorities, causing her later personality issues. After going through foster care and several suicide attempts, she became a nun and later an exorcist.

Ao no Exorcist Bloody Fairytale[]
Maria is an exorcist stationed in a small village in South America. While claiming to be there for the purposes of researching their religious rites, she was actually researching necromancy in the pursuit of creating a powerful Naberius. Her plan is ultimately foiled by Shiro Fujimoto and Mephisto Pheles and Maria is taken into custody before she can sacrifice the townsfolk for her ends.

Aria: Officially, Maria possessed a meister in Aria, specialising in chants and spells.
Tamer: Maria's real speciality appeared to be in the summoning of undead, particularly making use of Ghouls and Naberius demons in order to battle others.
Bilingual: Maria speaks both English and Spanish fluently, but lacks any Japanese.
