Kurobe () was an Exorcist of the True Cross Order. Serving under Shiro Fujimoto until his death following the Blue Night.
Appearance[]
Kurobe is a man of slightly short build with bowl-cut dark hair and a prominent pair of large glasses. He wears a standard exorcist's uniform.
Personality[]
Not much is shown of Kurobe's personality other than an apparent fierce loyalty to Shiro Fujimoto, willingly following him into the highly dangerous Operation Blue Lightning, and dying in the conflict that followed, possibly due to said loyalty.
Synopsis[]
Blue Night Remembrance arc[]
Kurobe, alongside Seishiro Nagatomo and Naoya Kyodo were chosen by Shiro Fujimoto to act as his personal assistants after his mission resulting in the retrieval of Shura Kirigakure.[1] Their job was to effectively look after her wellbeing whilst Shiro worked, but once she was accepted into the Order, his role was as a general support.
During Operation Blue Lightning, Kurobe and his peers volunteered to follow Shiro into combat, despite believing they'll die, he did not object.[2]
When looking for aide in raising Rin and Yukio Okumura, Shiro met with Nagatomo and Kyodo. When questioning where Kurobe was, he was informed their former teammate had died when Shiro defied the Knights of the True Cross.[3]
Powers & Abilities[]
While Kurobe's exact meisters and abilities are unknown, he is seemingly a competent Exorcist, being able to keep up with Shiro Fujimoto across multiple missions without meeting with misfortune.
Notably, along with his fellow teammates, he could summon and invoke multiple Oceanid familiars to attack with enough force to temporarily quell the infant Rin Okumura.[4]
