Black Cat (
Kuro went beserk when he heard that Father Shiro Fujimoto died and kept telling the Exorcists that they were all lying about his death though only Rin Okumura could understand him (He said it may be because of telepathy through Demons). When Yukio was about to use the item that Father Shiro gave him before if ever this scenario happens, Rin told him to let him calm Blacky down. Rin was able to, realizing Blacky was just sad and lonely. In the end, Blacky accepted the fact that Father Shiro died and accepted Rin as his familiar. Rin and Yukio Okumura found out that the item that Father Shiro gave Yukio was actually his catnip wine much to Blacky's delight.

Manga & Anime Differences
- Though the Japanese title of the episode and its adapted manga chapter share the same Kanji, the episode uses the Katakana "Ketto Shī" to pronounce the title (in reference to Cait Sith), while the manga uses the Hiragana "Kuro Neko".
- In the Manga, the scene showing Rin Okumura walking back from his errand is not shown.
- In the Manga, Rin Okumura offers his popsicle to Yukio Okumura before Yukio asks about his Mineral Water. This sequence is different in the Anime, as Yukio asks about his water before Rin offers him the popsicle.
- In the Manga, Mephisto Pheles and Amaimon are shown observing Rin Okumura and Yukio Okumura after Kuro discovers the Silver Vine Sake. In the anime, this sequence is handled differently as they are shown to be observing before Kuro discovers the wine.
