Chapter 99

Egyn Images

Egyn (エギュン Egyun) is one of the eight demon kings. He is the King of Water and Assistant Director of the Illuminati's Airborne Lab.[1]

Appearance

Egyn, unlike the other Demon Kings, seems to have a tendency to hide his face, in the past having an octopus over it, and in recent times wearing what appears to be a onesie in the shape of a shark.[2][3] Egyn also appears to be quite small, roughly half the height of his elder brother, Lucifer.[4]

The cover of Chapter 132 reveals that Egyn's face beneath his suit is similar to his sister Iblis, having dark skin and bright yellow eyes.

Personality

From what little has been shown of him, Egyn appears to be very nervous, hiding behind his older brother and clinging to him while addressing Yukio Okumura.[5]

Synopsis

Blue Night Investigation arc

Egyn is first introduced to Yukio Okumura aboard the Dominus Liminis, the young exorcist showing surprise that the odd creature is one of the Eight Demon Kings.[6]

Powers & Abilities

Egyn is one of the chief researchers for the Illuminati, using his expertise to create their Elixir.

As King of Water, Egyn should have affiliation with Demons such as Reapers and Kraken, but besides this, has not displayed any demonic powers.

Trivia

  • "Egin" or "Egyn", according to H.C. Agrippa, is the devil king of the North, one of four cardinal kings along with Paymon (West), Amaymon (South) and Oriens (East).
