Devil ☆ Punisher (デビル⭐︎バニッシャー Debiru⭐︎Banisshā) is a type of grenade harnessing the power of Armumahel.
Overview[]
Referred to as an Anti-Demon Ego Obliviator, the Devil ☆ Punisher was developed in secret by Tadashi Misumi and his assistant, Igor Neuhaus, under orders from Mephisto Pheles. Created over the course of fifteen years, this weapon is the result of their research into enhanced anti-demon compounds. Unleashing pressurized Black Flames upon impact, the Devil ☆ Punisher dispels the possessing demon, resulting in complete destruction of the host.[1] This makes it extremely effective at eliminating demons with high regenerative properties.[2] However, because of its experimental nature, only two of the grenades have been produced, and only ever battle tested once.[3]
Due to its power being derived from Armumahel, it has a negative effect on human beings, but this can be mitigated so long as they don't come into direct contact or suffer long term exposure to the weapon.[4]
The effective range of the weapon is somewhere in excess of a twenty-meter radius, creating a dense coverage of Black Flames that are seemingly unaffected by the airflow of Assiah.[5]
