Beria (ベリア Beria) is a character featured in Blue Exorcist: The Chronocyclic Labyrinth. He is a subordinate of Cecil.

Appearance

Beria is a tall man with very short blond hair and a muscular build. He wears silver plate armour over black trousers and what appears to be a mail shirt.

Personality

Beria appears very dogmatic, attempting to hunt down demons to the point of executing a witch hunt against innocents.

Synopsis

Blue Exorcist: The Chronocyclic Labyrinth

Using the Labyrinth Garden, the Exwires gain access to a 17th century fortress town in England. Within, they find Beria, under the command of General Cecil attempting to rout out demons despite not being exorcists.

Powers & Abilities

Beria seems to specialise in the use of weapons, wielding a crossbow and explosives in order to attack humans accused of being demons.

Demon Transformation: Beria was capable of transforming into a more powerful state, revealing his horns and fangs as well as becoming noticably more muscular. In this state, he could summon Coal Tars, though his level of influence over them is debatable. His claws were also powerful enough to dispel Izumo Kamiki's Byakko familiars.
