Hello and welcome to the Ao no Exorcist Wiki. There are very few policies which apply across all of Wikia; the ones that do can be found at their Policy Category.
In addition to these policies, there have been policies and guidelines that have been developed on the Ao no Exorcist Wiki to further our goal of creating an informative Ao no Exorcist database. Our policies apply to all editors.
We at the Ao no Exorcist Wiki strive to create a welcoming and fun environment for those who are civil and assume good faith in others, seek consensus in discussions, and work towards the goal of creating an increasingly comprehensive database about everything in the Ao no Exorcist Universe.
Policies need to be approached with common sense; adhere to the spirit rather than the lettering of the rules, and be prepared to break the rules on the rare occasion when they conflict with the goal of improving the wiki.
Do not vandalize current articles. Continued vandalism will result in a block.
No offensive articles with sexual/vulgar language or racist remarks.
Do not make pointless articles. If you see one, put the Request for Deletion tag on.
Please respect neutrality. Do not edit a closed discussion.
Ways to stay neutral
Do not only provide one point of view, but all relevant viewpoints as necessary.
Support your article with actual facts.
Use a reliable source.
Do not delete or alter any posts on any talk pages, whether they're yours or another user's.
Article Talk Pages must be used discussing changes to the articles only. All general discussions must be fielded in a forum or blog.
Message Walls are property of the community, not the user in which they pertain to. A Message Wall is a place for other users to send the user messages and ask questions, and to communicate when they have done something in conflict with what they have been doing, or when they are trying to settle a small issue. However, there are several restrictions regarding what one can do with a Message Wall:
Message Walls are not to be treated as if they are blogs threads. The point of them is to always be aware that you have messages, and are to be treated as if they are a Talk Page.
You are to mind your own business in a Message Wall conversation and stay out unless you yourself are naturally dragged into the conversation, or are requested to join.
Do not delete any any messages from your Message Wall, or anyone else's.
If a user is harassing you, talk to one of the active admins and they will close the thread and deal with the user in question.
